Back in February, we received an email from Birmingham University asking if we would like to sponsor and be bed suppliers for their Olympic visitors.

We deal with Birmingham University as one of our customers and when we got the email about sponsoring, it became clearer that it was to supply them with extra-long beds for athletes.
We recently received a call from Birmingham University to say that a mystery athlete wasn’t happy with his bed and it was all stations go for our team on night shift to get a new, and firmer, mattress made and back to Birmingham the next morning.
What we didn’t expect was that the athlete that was struggling to get a good nights sleep was none other than Olympic Gold Medal winner and record breaking Jamaican Sprinter – Usain Bolt.
